• Overnight train/Volvo from Delhi (6–7 hrs).
• Stay in Rishikesh or Haridwar.

• Scenic drive along the Ganga and Alaknanda rivers.
• Route: Rishikesh → Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi) →
Rudraprayag → Ukhimath → Chopta.
• Stay: Campsite / Guesthouse in Chopta.

• Trek Distance: 5 km one-way (~5–6 hrs total).
• Steep but short ascent through pine, deodar, and rhododendron forests.
• Visit Tungnath Temple en route.
• Final 1 km stretch from Tungnath to Chandrashila is steep but rewarding.
